In line with this year's festival theme of "French Connection", Abalone Art Gallery will show a solo exhibition of works by Nel Erasmus ("Abstraction into Motion"), recent drawings by Judith Mason ("Undiscovered Animals"), as well as a Group Exhibition – Visions and Illusions – with select works by Alta Botha, Lien Botha, Christoff Barnard, Elzaby Laubscher, Pat Kagiso Mautloa, André Naudé, Lynette ten Krooden, Jeannette Unite, Louis van Heerden and Kristin Hua Yang and sculptures by Mariki Chin, Gordon Froud, Shepherd Ndudzo, Carl Roberts, Anton Smit, Susanna Swart, Strydom van der Merwe and Herman van Nazareth. About Us

The Abalone Gallery is situated in Hermanus, a bustling holiday resort on the Western Cape Whale Coast. The gallery is run by Ortrud Mulder, an experienced art advisor and gallery director (formerly the Pretoria Guild Gallery and a gallery in Cologne, Germany). She has curated a number of exhibitions of Souh African art at overseas institutions, art associations and museums, e.g. Ethnology Museum in Vienna, Naledi – Deutsche Welle, Cologne, Ubuntu – Hannover and Bonn, Aalst, Belgium and in Santa Barbara, California.

Apart from the works in the gallery, Ortrud offers an advisory service to collectors and investors, ranging from sourcing single pieces (including old masters) to a complete selection of works for residences and business premises.

Works can be shipped to any destination in the world. Visa and Mastercard accepted.
