Beatrix Bosch, whose works are primarily done in leather, is today an internationally renowned artist. Her unique vision, sense of colour and texture transforms the leather medium into sophisticated designs which undeniably have their roots in Africa.

A technique originated and developed by the artist herself, has brought her international acclaim over nearly three decades.

Only leather from culled or domesticated animals is used, and never skins from endangerd species or animals killed only for their skins.

Work consists of mainly abstract wallhangings in various kinds of leather. She did and does special commissons for corporations and private homes.

There are numerous works in buildings in South Africa and overseas and private collections in SA, U.S.A., UK, Japan, Israel, Germany, Australia and others.

Her biggest work is "Prelude" (3 x 27m) hanging in the State Theatre, Pretoria.
